I think this is more of a statement than a question. lol
Yeah, because he clearly likes to work with the same people over and over. So you'll have a whole career just off your david simon connection.
Might be a drugdealer in one show, then a detective in another, then a junkie or a politician and yet another, but at least it's work. You'll get very different roles, despite being the same crime genre

Not to mention HBO likes to reuse actors. So to answer the question....hell yeah.

You know I'm talking extras right? Not recurring cast members.
No i didn't, but my point still stands. i've seen extras get recurring work in david simon projects too. In fact he will routinely hire the real life people whom the show is based upon to play small roles in the background.
