I’d adopt but not if their parents are alive. Imagine they randomly come back and try to take custody of a kid I raised all their life.

If you are in a position to give a child a better life and you want to do it, I think adoption is one of the most loving things you can do.

There are a lot of "buts" and challenges and even abuses in the adoption world. Putting that aside, I think it's admirable to be willing to change a child's life for the better.
