What are the FIVE best DC or Marvel portrayals of comic charactors in FILM or TV, live action? Accuracy to the charactor [or a version of the charactor], acting performance, etc...the "man they got that guy JUST RIGHT" feelings.

1. Andrew Garfield - The Amazing Spiderman
   • The first spiderman ever that (especially in act 1 of ASM2) just FELT like spidey and as parker...just webslinging, talkin stuff, late for a date, late for class...garfield was awesome.
2. Vincent D'Onofrio - The Kingpin - Daredevil.
   • Double flawless...especially the last 3 episodes of the season
3. Patrick Stewart- Professor X - X-men franchise
   • speaks for itself
4. J.K Simmons - J. Jonah Jameson - Spiderman
   • FRAME PERFECT rendition...i'd have him higher if he had more screen time, but he really BECAME JJJ..so hillarious
5. Robert Downey Jr - Tony Stark / Ironman - Ironman
   • It helps that marvel changed his entire charactor to match the movies thanks to bendis

Honorable mention to Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne but his batman left something to be desired.

Yeah, some of my favorites (Mickey Rourke as Marv, Karl Urban as Dredd) aren't Marvel/DC at all.

Besides those two I'd add Michael Keaton as Batman (I've said it before, the only actor to truly capture the intensity of Batman), Jackie Earle Haley as Rorschach (spot-on) and Patrick Stewart as Professor X (world's most obvious casting choice, and for good reason).

2. Ledger as Joker

3. JK Simmons as JJJ. Fukkin perfect. Tough act to follow for real

4. Fassbender as Magneto. Fukk it, I was rooting for him the first movie.

5. Tie-Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne and Michael Keaton as Batman. If you put those two together, you get the perfect portrayal
