My first live event was on my birthday December 30, 1999 at The Pyramid. Got one of The Rock elbowpads that he was wearing around that time and was :ahh: status all night. Think they had Triple H vs. Jerry Lawler which ended up turning into The Rock vs. Triple H. Chris Jericho, Chyna had something going for the IC title I can't remember who else was involved. OG Kane..ActuallyI just looked it up and here was the show:

WWF @ Memphis, TN - Pyramid - December 30, 1999 (18,008; sell out)
Kurt Angle defeated the Godfather
Rikishi (w/ Grandmaster Sexay & Scotty 2 Hotty) defeated Tracey Smothers
Test defeated Viscera
WWF IC Champion Chris Jericho defeated Al Snow after Chyna and the Kat came ringside
WWF European Champion Val Venis pinned Prince Albert with the fisherman's suplex
Grandmaster Sexay & Scotty 2 Hotty defeated Crash & Hardcore Holly and Matt & Jeff Hardy in an elimination match; Crash pinned Jeff after a missed Swanton; Crash was pinned following the Tennessee Jam
Jerry Lawler pinned Mideon (w/ Viscera) with the piledriver
The Acolytes defeated the Dudley Boyz following the Clothesline from Hell
X-Pac & WWF Tag Team Champion Road Dogg defeated Edge & Kane
The Rock pinned Triple H with the People's Elbow

:ahh: Shout out to moms..one of the best birthday gifts ever. Last show I went to was the Jan 4th RAW show last year when Jericho returned, next show will be WM29.

My best friend is JTG's first cousin so he got us into RAW for free in 2006. It was during the Cena/Edge feud and when the Spirit Squad was going against DX..think HBK got banned from the arena that show.

First show I saw was back in '87 or '88. It was Macho Man vs Andre The Giant in the main event. I remember being shook walking with my dad from from the Cobo parking lot to the Joe, thinking Bad News Brown would jump out from the shadows and run our pockets :to:

The best match of the night, tho, was the six man tag between Hacksaw Jim Duggan and the Hart Foundation vs Dino Bravo and the Fabulous Reugeu brothers. shyt was hype

The next one I went to was in like '90 or '91 when Undertaker and Warrior were doing their body bag match tour. shyt had me markin hard :gladbron:

I went to this house show when I was 11:

WWF House Show « Events Database « CAGEMATCH

WWF House Show « Events Database « CAGEMATCH

Whoaaa :gladbron: Thanks for this link.

I was at this event, the one odd thing was, I was sitting across from the entrance way and during HBK's match vs Goldust, Mankind came to the curtain to watch. He had his mask on and everything.

But he never ran-in or did anything....I guess he was scouting HBK in the ring maybe? Because they started feuding not too long after if I' remember properly.

no prob...I just did a search for "wwf marc mero louisville gardens" and found the site.

Dude (even in his short WWE career) apparently did 3 Louisville house shows, so I narrowed it down to the sole one where he was face and Brock's future wife was happily his valet.

I remember being pretty damn excited about getting their autograph, too...I was 11, hormones were a motherfukka...so yeah, I did get a good look at Sable's cleavage :russ:

I do remember being nice and slick enough to at least wait until she was looking down to sign her autograph :youngsabo:

Sadly I also remember throwing away the autograph paper years later on some "I'm a grown up now, I don't need this no more" *toss it in the trashcan* shyt :(

Pretty damn nifty site, brought back memories :lawd:

I remember going to a House Show in 1997 and wondering where the hell Vince & Jerry Lawler were on the mic

The main event was HBK/Sid vs Bret/Austin.

My mom got my bro some "Bret Hart glasses" and I got a HBK cd-rom calender for the computer

I went to a live event at my school's basketball/multi-purpose building:

1. Rey and Sin Cara beat Tensai and The Miz. A solid match with the faces going over with their finishers. Miz complained about not being pinned and challenged Rey to a singles match.

2. Rey beat The Miz in less than two minutes with the 619.

3. Layla beat Aksana in a really slow paced match.

4. Brodus Clay beat Heath Slater with the splash.

Intermission

5. Antonio Cesaro beat Zack Ryder to retain the U.S. Title. This was the match of the night at this point in the show. Both guys put on a show and crowd was hot for Ryder.

Damien Sandow came out and belittled the crowd and called out an opponent.

6. Justin Gabriel pinned Damien Sandow clean in a pretty decent match

7. Michael McGillicutty beat Dean Ambrose with the neckbreaker.

8. Big Show beat C.M. Punk via DQ in a lumberjack match. Obviously, Punk retained the WWE Championship due to the DQ finish.

Overall, it was a ok show, Cena was supposed to be there but he was injured at the time. He was supposed to go a club after and wanted to see what type of college smuts would've been on him :smugfavre: :sadbron:
