Roaden Polynice
Superstar
I was thinking about it and I've seen so many fukking movies this year (and still have to see Edge of Tomorrow and Snowpiercer ), but of course not all of them stick with you, so there might be several that I'm forgetting about.
I think number one right now for me is Obvious Child (it was either this or Blue Ruin. Blue Ruin da gawd ). Mainly because of Jenny Slate, but because it's an actual funny feminist movie that isn't completely fixated on the elephant in the room (abortion) and has a strong and empathetic lead character.
but special shout outs to:
Lego Movie
22 Jump Street
Blue Ruin
Jodorowsky's Dune
The Dance of Reality
Under the Skin
The Wind Rises
The Grand Budapest Hotel
The Raid 2
Noah
Movies that left me
Captain America 2
Godzilla
Neighbors
Movies that I'm anticipating for the rest of the year (off the top of my head):
Life Itself
Dawn of the Planet of the Apes (TODAY )
