Your Favorite Movie Of the Year So Far?

I was thinking about it and I've seen so many fukking movies this year (and still have to see Edge of Tomorrow and Snowpiercer ), but of course not all of them stick with you, so there might be several that I'm forgetting about.

I think number one right now for me is Obvious Child (it was either this or Blue Ruin. Blue Ruin da gawd ). Mainly because of Jenny Slate, but because it's an actual funny feminist movie that isn't completely fixated on the elephant in the room (abortion) and has a strong and empathetic lead character.

"Dawn of the Planet of the Apes" is the only movie I've seen in the theater this year. so I'll say that.

"The Raid 2" was dope as hell too.

Came out in 2013. Never felt the need to rewatch even after I d/l'd the bluray. May go down as one of the most overrated movies of the year.

I saw it in January I think. It must have been right at the end of 2013. Love that movie.

From this year I'd have to say Guardians. jeez what a shytty year its been for movies.
