what u tell ur players to do?...
Refs were a joke.
1. The coach needs to get on the ref for flagrant fouls. Walk on the court and get in their face. It might draw a warning but at least the refs will be aware.
2. 34 white is obviously a no-talent fat turd and he's using his size to knock down players with the ball. So, it's HS ball, all zone. They need to work the outside game and make 34 useless on defense. Rework offense to make plays on the right side where 34 is out of position. No need to try to drive through him. Or pass the ball four feet outside the zone and make a jumper. He can't block and isn't blocking anyway.
3. Guards in position to pick up rebounds need to get down and low and go side to side with elbows. That prevents stripping the ball. This is learned on street courts where bo-bos like to grab your arms for flagrant fouls... and NBA Jam, the video game.
4. The team had limited inside plays. A lot of direct drives to the net. Any defense can see that a mile away, and so did 34. Good offense will tic-tac-toe their way with passes around these kinds of players. If they do it enough, it will draw him out of position and open lanes. They didn't tape the whole game so I didn't see everything else. Maybe they changed tactics to avoid these flagrant fouls.
