Maybe someone can help me out. What is the name/style of dresses/skirts I see women wear here in the city. Usually white/cream colored, fairly see through, and while form-fitting, not as tight as a mini-skirt.

FYI, it's not a bodycon skirt

Hmm.. that doesnt look form-fitting at all
Looks like a shirt dress. The silky satiny textures are in because of the pajama trend. Ill see what I can find.

None oft hose are it. I was all up and down E.90th and then went to Prince St. and saw no one wearing it ... as hot as it was today.

This is the closest I can think of minus the back laces:

Regardless...unless some females feel like sharing pics of their dresses, this case is closed. When I see the next female wearing it I will just ask her.

I asked a female co-worker...this is the closet I can think of though the only colors I have seen are orange and cream/white--definitely transparent (thankfully thongs):
