The mans father is a multi millionaire and has deep connections in the league and with some owners, yet he chose to play the ignorant rapping thug role and blaming his father as well. Even if he wasnt an athlete nothing stopped him from getting a college education and having a career in any field of his choice with no worry of being thousands of dollars in debt, some of this guys come off as ungrateful

Well all know Michael Irving isn't a saint. However, most of us have seen people who grown up in good households and still was appealed to street life. Folk really underestimate the bullsht influence in particular with rap music. Michael Irvin's son probably gone to top notch schools and still mumbling when he talks because he thinks its cool.

Definitely also worth taking into consideration the private schools they send they kids to and who they are surrounded by day in and day out and how that influences their outlook on life...... feelings of entitlement, work ethic etc.........

This guy is a reflection of the VALUES of the times he grew up in where we spent years telling the youth that being a real nikka or Black person was everything but a hard working square. The youth were affected by the popular culture of their era having no balanced representation. We bear blame for that for not giving them guidance. He couldn't superceded the cultur around him despite his privilege and you are seeing this a lot with young brehs. Now you can blame his dad but this is one of those times I actually do blame society.
Honestly i don't know. Not sure Lionel was stacking paper like that during his prime. I didn't think singers outside of the MJ's or Madonna was making as much as the NFl Players in the 80s
