You Think Miami Regrets Leaving the Big East?

I was thinking the other day that The U ain't been shyt since moving If they had stayed even with their downturn they coulda been top of the big east and in BcS bowls. I know the ACC ain't got squads throughout like that but they still better than what the big east had been.

that has nothing to do with it. Miami has been plagued by a cheap administration and apathetic coaching staffs.

in order to compete you have to be willing to spend money on good coaches and facilities; as well as be able to recruit non stop.

unfortunately we had larry Coker and Randy Shannon guiding our program since 2001.

If Miami spent the money to attract quality coaches we wouldn't be in the doldrums as we are now.

The coaching staffs did not make the players accountable for their nutrition, lack of discipline, or lack of motivation in the strength and conditioning.

Look at Alabama they are on top of College Football right now, but 4 5 years ago they struggled to win 8 games a year. Their administration understood that in order to compete in odays college football environment you need to have quality coaches.

to add on to rasta, that school is doomed because look at the # of alumni they have compared to other big time D1 programs...they just don't have the $$$$ like FSU & UF do...
