are u serious breh? lol @ this basic ass reading comprehension question
Great explanation... :utellin:
When you add up at the end, its 49+49+ the two $s that the parents got back... You wouldn't count the one that he has. Those the 2 dollars he gave his parents are what counts. If he was buying a 95 dollar shirt and borrowed $50 from each parent got $5 dollars back and gave each of them $2 dollars then he would owe each of them $48 so $48+$48+the $1 he has= $97 so if that is your logic then he is now missing $3 dollars because you don't count what he has when adding up to the $100. Because in the first problem you start with $100 you owe the parents $49 dollars each but they don't actually have the $49 dollars, the store has them. You owe them $49 but you can't count money that the store actually has. So when you add it up it should be. the store has $48.5 of the dad's money+48.5 of the mom's money+ the dollar the dad has+the dollar the mom had+the dollar the kid had. There is no way it is even logical to say he owe's the mom and dad 49 each and then count his 1... Because you're counting money that the parent's don't have. They only have 1 dollar. so in reality the problem REALLY should be he owes the parents 49 each right? so it isn't positve 49 it is NEGATIVE $49 so -$49-$49+$1=-$97 and that NEGATIVE $97 Is what the store has where the kid bought his overpriced shirt.
