I'm all for a black champion but you'd be surprised how black wrestlers gimmicks go over people's heads. Marks still think The Street Profits are like Cryme Tyme and on wrestleforum, the majority of posters thought The Usos became black when they started doing the day on ish. It's like the only black wrestlers they like have to be dorks or fit into their homoerotic fantasies. They constantly talk about which Japanese wrestlers they'd go gay for.
That's why when R-Truth comes into the Royal Rumble at 30 I don't want him to do no clown shyt. Breh needs to win the Rumble and tell us the next night on RAW he's been appeasing these cacs for too long

Jon Jones & Daniel Cormier sells lots of PPVs for UFC and MMA fans are FAR more racist than WWE fans. That’s an old school promoters excuse. WWE really has tried literally everything else but an unapologetic champion for black people. They didn’t even try to make Rock a ‘black champion’ and his black fanbase pushed him to the stratosphere and we never even got a thank you lol

Yeah but the difference between combat sports and WWE is that you can’t just be chanted or hand picked to be the guy. Your god given skills dictate it unlike WWE which is scripted. WWE has clearly chosen what they think a champion looks like and it’s not anywhere near black. All black wrestlers in the E are either dancing or smiling or sometimes a combination of both. A black wrestler won’t get enough freedom, creative direction or screen time to even try and get the fans to take them seriously as a championship contender. Then when you add in the

I dunno about viewers but Big E can credibly be WWE Champion and even though he's getting up there in age people still love Kofi so he might have another singles run in him.
They don't give a fukk about the tag division anyway. People would get over New Day being gone for a while. Besides, what else is there for New Day to do besides sell more merch?
Then you got Ricochet and Velveteen Dream with huge star potential down the line. There's no reason but the tendencies of the fanbase keeping this from happening. If it's the right guy and a credible story it can really work.
