The race has you coming in third place no matter what you do. Then when you cross the finish line it says you finished first. Normally, these races are 95% scripted and you usually just have to not mess up around the final corner and you will win, but I guess this race is like the Halo one from FH4 where it's really just a time attack instead of a race.

Unbelievable they broke their set goal in like 2 days. Xbox killing it this year and watch when Halo drop.. those numbers will be doubled easily

Its gonna be hard to beat Xbox as long as they have gamepass. Gamepass is a monster.

This game is so damn fun, I started out this gen with a PS5 but what MS is doing (I'm on PC) has been really getting my attention with GamePass, IDK how they afford it.

I was oblivious to how well this game was translate to the masses. I don't know if it is a one off or a precursor of some things to come so it's too early to make definitive statements but if Gamepass begins to explode, you can probably trace it back to this game and this moment.

Absolutely 100% inaccurate imo

The people that don't get what makes GAMEPASS special say that. Sony stans believe that. The truth is gamepass isn't about AAA games, it's about games period. Not shytty games either, this notion that the only good games cost 100s of millions to make was never true. And gamepass has proven that to it's members. FH5 for instance is a great game but so was FH4. Xbox games would unfairly be judged like black people in court. Now that PC gamers get to test it people are more open to trying Xbox games. That's the connection, and anyone who joins this ecosystem figures this out.

Not shytty games either, this notion that the only good games cost 100s of millions to make was never true. And gamepass has proven that to it's members. That's not true though. With any service, you come for the blockbuster, the big name property, it's the smaller things or niche things and other blockbusters that gets you to stay. When Onward went to Disney Plus, that's when there was a huge jump in subs for Disney, the other things like The Mandalorian and Wandavision convinced many to stay. You need that big hit that transcends beyond to the average person initially.

No one is going to Gamepass specifically to play The Gunk, Death's Door or even Psychonauts but when they get there on the back of a Forza Horizon , they will see games and names they know like Doom, Halo, Elder Scrolls, Quake, Killer Instinct, Fallout, Banjo Kazooie, Gears of War and some games they likely don't like Dishonored and Flight Simulator. Outriders can gain a new player, Scarlett Nexus can gain a new player.

It's Microsoft's job to sell Gamepass, the other companies just ride shotgun. Forza Horizon 5 represents that first blockbuster attempt at doing so.

Someone without the service will think what your saying. But I can break down why what you're saying is mostly false.

Forza Horizon is a great game, this new one isn't reinventing the wheel. Also, gamepass has between 25-30 million subscriptions BEFORE THIS GAME LAUNCHED. How they reaching 25 million if it's not what I'm saying???

I get it, hype, you're doing the hype and now you're like it's gonna take off. It's already taken off tho and the trajectory has it reaching 48 million subs by a certain due date.

Yes Halo and other games will be even more reasons to come but If FH5 didn't come out, GAMEPASS would still be the best thing in gaming. The world has recognized it as the Netflix of gaming way before any of those games dropped which makes my point. I'm not denying 1st party AAA titles will add to what's already happening but it's happening regardless. The most played games on PlayStation are multiplats not exclusives, that makes my point as well....
