how do you get started on an idea. I've jotted down some ideas and i think i'm good for right now. What are the next few steps i take before beginning a first draft?

i would come up w/my own ideas majority of the time.. just based off conversations w/folks, daily observations or things i found funny..

write down every idea you have.. never know when you'll go back to one and/or use it.. i got shyt everywhere, still to this day.. scraps of paper, old blackbooks/pocket memo pads.. notes on computers.. you never know..

id suggest taking a writing class.. although I've been into multi-media(especially the writing aspect) since the mid-90s- i recently went back to college for Culinary, and took a few writing classing.. learned alot..

also.. id highly suggest expanding your reading of different genres, as well as authors.. that was very instrumental in my early days..

I got a few books i want to read actually. My internal backlog is crazy(books that are in the back of my mind to read) Good looks breh.
