What yall think about cats who can lift the gym but cant do pullups to save their life? :mjlol:

What yall think about the cats who cant lift much in the gym but could do pullups all day?:ehh:

What yall think about cats who strong in the gym and can crank out pullups, pushups, etc?:blessed:

And I dont want to hear anybody talking about bodyweight is a reason why some cats cant do bodyweight exercise's because Ive seen skinny nikkas who can do pullups/pushups and ones who cant, and I seen big nikkas who can do pullups/pushups and cant.

I'm more in question of... The cats who can lift their asses off and got a solid build..... But can't run an entire 3 miles without gasping for air or stopping to shake off fatigue. Cardio is important and whenever I leave the gym without doing my 3 miles in under a certain time I feel like a loser no matter what PR's I've made in lifting.

But lifting heavy all around for 8-12 reps beats doing a shytload of pull-ups and push ups... It's an entirely different resistance.

Like anything else, just takes work to build enough strength in the right muscles :yeshrug:

Only thing in this same vein that annoys me are the brolic cats who can't/don't squat...or do any legs. They rock pants to the gym everyday for a reason :lolbron:

But what if you steadily add weight on top of doing pushups and pullups?[DOUBLEPOST=1397430108][/DOUBLEPOST]

Nah fam, no reason why you can bench 275, deadlift 300 overhead press 170(just random numbers) and cant do some pullups, no excuse.

But I do agree with you on the cats who never work they legs that shyt is dumb.

Well then those aren't "body weight" exercises anymore and you're on the same lane as adding dumbbells and barbells to your regimen because you are adding more resistance than just your own body.

I honestly have never seen someone who lifts regularly and heavy that can't do 10 pull ups and 20 push ups. If you get passed 10 on both exercises it's time to add resistance anyway to build muscle.....

I mean, it's a certainly a sign of muscle imbalance...and something I'd be ashamed of personally (assuming injury doesn't prevent a particular movement).

But it's not like they can't gain that ability the same way the gained the ability to DL 300.

I'm assuming you mean can't, and if they truly can not then I don't believe they have a somewhat "built" physique. I was talking about muscular lifters. Not those fat asses who lift big numbers on compounds but pack a big ass gut that holds them down.

I need some examples of people and their pics of their physique to fully decide if it even looks like they could do 1 pull up at all.
