Yo Kendrick really jacked Drakeos whole style AND put his opp on the track

I think in retrospect, people are going to feel uncomfortable with how much shyt kendrick is talking on here. It’s in direct contravention of his positive image all these years.

Thats why is said…he’s playing with a lot of local negative energy he may not realize he opened the door for...

LA isn’t a “wait and see” type city. If they felt a way, it’d been addressed the evening Kendrick dropped NLU in may of last year.

Drakeo fans never listened to Suga Free or even Snoop Dogg I guess

DAWG! I said this on Twitter. NLU and GNX reminded me of the Suga Free flow. And they killed me on Twitter. And when I say “they” I’m not even talking about LA natives.

“What!? Kendrick bit directly off Drakeo! The hell you talking about!?”

Granted, yeah. I think Drakeo recently being the most popular artist to run with that flow, he may have inspired kendrick to reincorporate this classic westcoast flow, after drakeos passing. But it’s definitely not a Drakeo invention. It alwyas sounded like a traditional Westcoast flow ushered in by Suga Free comedic almost Richard Pryor inspired wit, and by DJ Quik by extension of Quik and Suga Free behind work partners.

“Beat yo ass and hide the Bible if god watching” sound like something Suga Free would’ve said on Streets Gospel.

The lack of any direct shout out to Drakeo is weird too, not gonna lie.
