Warm regards <-- Normal
Best regards <-- A little pissed off
Regards <-- Polite speak for "f*ck you"


People I don't :

Best regards <-- Normal
Regards <-- "F*ck you"



Whichever of the above followed by :

I say "regards" almost every time. But yeah sometimes when the situation is strained I just sign off with a dash then my name lol

Its funny because some emails tend to be so informal with a formal sign-off just to re-iterate the point..especially noticed this when I'm communicating with my seniors or if I'm talking to someone junior internally. Also I don't get people who use THANKS especially when its completelly out o fcontext & it sounds all cheap & fake.....I never use thanks/thank you unless I actually have something to thank someone for. ....on another note I had one of them proverbial 'Trustee' emails that found it way to my inbox over the weekend...possibly originated from the western province of Africa.... I might use it as my signature going forward....just to ward of suppliers / debtors etc....

Made some modifications to the original email & made a template, feel free to use......Don't forget the Caps, they're important

I never really thought regards was a fukk you, always seemed alright to me.

I use cheers, thanks, regards, and sincerely depending on the situation. Sometimes I use nothing as well.
