yo can you still sign a check over to somebody else?

without gettin too deep into it, my bro got a check sent my house because he's basically homeless. i'm tryna cash it and western union him the dough cuz he hungry. all the check cashin joints i tried said they don't do that and everything online said most banks don't typically do it either. is there a loophole that the brehs know about?

What type of check is it? And can't he take it to a check cashing place himself? It's probably going to be a 10% fee though.

it's a us treasury check. i would send it to him but like i said, he doesn't have an address. we're on opposite sides of the country.
