They should pass laws to stop this from happening or if you switch party (you defrauded the voters and small donors that baked your campaign) then you should immediately forfeit your seat or trigger a by election

Them being bad at spotting plants is really overstated imo. It happens in both parties all the time. It never seems to make the news when a Republican turns Democrat though.
