Dude they used to make these great PG movies for kids and families.
Then in the 1990s you had Aladdin and The Lion King and then Toy Story took off.
And ever since, you got a million fukkin animated movies and you never see any good regular family movies.
Wall-E, Moana, Frozen.
The only time you see a regular wholesome movie is when it's a remake. Like Beetlejuice Beetlejuice. Or whatever that crappy remake was of Ghost Busters.
Can someone please make like ..another Goonies. But NOT the Goonies? You know what I mean?
yeah. I think the newest movie i own is "The Incredibles 2" (2018) and "The Nice Guys" (2016).
Everything else I own are 90's and early to mid-2000s.
There aren't anymore Sandlots, Matildas, Stuart Littles, Angels in the Outfields, Brink, Dennis the Menace type movies anymore. Even Holes from the early 2000s
Maybe the Disney Channel Original Movies are good. Lord knows i dont check for those anymore. I haven't checked out the newest movies really, but everything is an old remake for real. A lot of it is Hollywood is out of ideas so they're whoring out all the good stuff from back in the day (Mulan, Dumbo, Aladdin, Lion King, Star Wars, etc.).
The dude who made Lilo and Stich came out with a new movie (animated ofc) last year that got really good reviews. But yeah, everything is animated now, or just looks corny if it is live-action. Maybe nostalgia is playing a big part
