When you see a store owner from a foreign country operating in the heart of the most dangerous hood, you may wonder how they are so bold.

Where they come from it wasn't three teenagers with one handgun between them that they had to worry about. They dealt with guerilla armies with machine guns walking around and when they felt like it they sprayed the scene. With impunity. Bombs. Tanks crushing your shack. Sleeping in the jungle on the ground hiding.

These kids may be from somewhere like that. They know the truth about war at such a tender age.

It's heartbreaking.
