Smackdown 2010 was an ugly mess, which was saying something since WWE in 2010 was trash on a whole

then Rey revealing that it was Kane himself that did it 
another shytty WWE year. 2010 was a different type of shyt than 04-07 though. 04-07 was brutal and awful, 09-10 was just flat out boring, bland, and underwhelming.
I will say though about that Kane storyline specifically, the video package and the connecting of the dots for what basically amounted to a 13 year conclusion was incredible. I don't remember a single good match other than him winning the MITB, but his solo segments were pretty good. Probably the last time I was really interested in Kane besides Team Hell No.

Looking back, everything about that storyline was weird and didn't make a lot of sense (Paul Bearer turning on Undertaker after nine days, Nexus interfering at Bragging Rights), but it gave Kane the spotlight and allowed him to play that demented, evil character like only he could.
Actually, now that I think about it, SmackDown had a lot of young talent around that time they never did much with. Which is a shame since they had the better show in 2009.

I was still watching WWE every week in 2010 and yet I legitimately couldn't tell you anything that happened that year after WrestleMania aside from the most significant parts.
Funny story, I actually decided to quit watching one week....and it was that week that the Nexus angle happened
I go online and folks on twitter and non-wrestling boards were bugging about that shyt, and I'm sitting here like
And then the EXACT SAME shyt happened with Punk a exactly a year later. I figured since he was on the way out, him losing to Cena was a foregone conclusion, so there was no real incentive for me to continue watching WWE
