The graphic novel "The Killing Joke" depicted Joker shooting and paralyzing Barbara Gordon, then he proceeded to strip her while she lay bleeding on the floor, and took pictures of her.

What people are getting at is that there was also hinted, but not confirmed, actual sexual assault. The current Batgirl comic is very poppy and teen girl friendly... this is some dark shyt to sell to them

I never understood the outrage until I read your post breh. I was thinking of it strictly on my own terms rather than thinking of Batgirl's target audience and yeah for them, those teenage girls, this may not be the best move
