Yahoo Keeper leagues - are you required to keep a player?

Whats good breh's, I have never done a keeper league but my boys want to change our current league to a keeper league.

How exactly does it work?

When do we designate which player we want to keep, do we do it after this season is over or before we draft next year?

Also, are we required to keep a player, can we choose to retain nobody?

you declare keepers before the draft.. then the commish approves them.

you don't have to keep anyone but that probably depends on league settings

Also, don't let someone change the league to a keeper if it means keeping players from last season....cause that's some shady shyt

You have to start/call the league a keeper league before any draft.

Also, talk about/consider rules for keeper value...max years a player can be kept, increasing round values each year, trading draft picks, etc....try to think of everything before hand.
