Coronavirus probably pushed this release date back
Corona Virus keeping people inside to play is exactly what Microsoft probably wants. If anything they're probably looking at their supply chain to see how they can make online delivery happen at the scale of a regular brick and mortar release.
You're absolutely right when it comes to manufacturing though. But I'm hearing most chinese factories have reopened.
