Xbox GamerTag recovery Question

I wanna buy a new Xbox since my old one gives me probs. My question is this: can I recover my GT on the new one and still use my old Xbox with the same GT? See I don't give a shyt about my game saves, I just want a fresh system, but I still want my gamer score on the new one.

You can recover your gamertag on any xbox bruh. Your good.
Once you get your new system, you just go to account history and you can redownload any game you previously bought (or movie/etc)

Your game saves, you can upload the ones you want to your online storage. You should be able to fit them all

I'm not up on the whole new ways of Live since I ain't on it. I just get the updates when I sign in from time-to-time.

To recovery our gamertag on any system, you just to go account recovery option somewhere on there.
When you go to your storage, as long as your online? You get the option to access it. Then transfer your save files there before you get rid of your old system (If your getting rid of it)

If not, then yeah, you can have your GT on both systems at the same time...

If you dont care about saves then just sign in to xbox live. I had an old xbox but didnt know my pw bc then all u had to do was put in the controller combo, it was a little harder then because I set it up through an email address I no longer had so I was s.o.l.

Yeah, but he can just transfer the saves he wants RIGHT NOW and not have to worry about keeping track of the drive.
You can even click multiple saves (well, all of them) at once
Saves don't take up that much space, so the upload shouldn't take long at all
Unless you've done that already and can confirm it does?

well just his profile it's alot quicker than recovery but I agree games save he can transfer at his leisure.

noob question but if i delete a DLC can i redownload it for free?

i know u can do this on PSN but I'm not so sure about XBL
