X was the first rapper from Sac I ever listened to. I fw with him up until like 01. After The Initiation I was off him. Unforgiven is his best album to me and I can say he improved as a rapper. I never thought he’d ever get out.

I have issues with people who can't pick a side and stand on it...

Years back in his first Vlad interview, he called gangs "parasitic organisms". When Vlad asked him this time around if he stands on that, he said yes, but he's been doing alot of banging in this Vlad interview...

He's been free for 6 years now. That's well long enough to be adjusted back into the land of freedom after 26½ years. What it comes off as, is that he wasn't genuine in the latter stages of his sentence when he spoke against banging, because he was coming home to a bag and some celebrity regardless. He didn't have to come back out here demonstrating and alot of what he's saying is morally conflicting, he's going back and forth over the line...

Pick a side and stand on it...

I fukk with X, he's the earliest rapper I knew of from the city even though I wasn't a huge fan (I was more into Gangsta Dre as my early Sac rap influence). Just stay solid on whatever you preaching, homie in the same interview session contradicting himself...

Yeah he doing too much. I think what bothers me, is he was preaching a different message while he was locked up. It's night and day, he's literally gangbanging in this Vlad interview...

Him saying "ask these guys what yard they were on and what they did time for", nah that doesn't work. There's a whole bunch of pussies doing time on Level 4's/max yards. A bunch...

There's a bunch of pussies who have bodies...

Everyone outside doesn't get a life sentence, everyone doesn't get football numbers, so being classified to a lower level yard or going up for lighter charges isn't relevant if you're otherwise a proven commodity. Having a body and a life sentence doesn't mean you were anything----->this nikka Life came from him and a group of teens kicking in a door and spraying erratically and killing the one person in there who wasn't a target...

His kill, his Life sentence isn't based on some real g shyt, yall nighas killed an innocent person instead of catching these nikkas in traffic. That's one, so beating your chest as if you caught your body or your L on some g shyt, that's a negative...

Two, he did 26½ years, I never heard X-Loc was really getting down like that. He was on Level 4s because he had to be. I salute that he stood up for himself like a g when the Mexicans attacked him, that was some g shyt and is worth more than his time, his crime or his sentence. But other than that, I don't know no stories of X really frontlining anything in those yards...

Doesn't mean he didn't but he doesn't have that reputation so he can go ahead and stop acting like he does. Because there's plenty of other Sacramento nikkas who DO have that reputation of really smacking shyt inside...

Doing over a quarter century and coming out with your health and mind intact is a remarkable feat worthy of praise. I've seen many a nikka lose their minds with far less time. I definitely think that's worth noting...

And I'm ranting here, but this is my problem with Crips in general, too many of these nikkas are Superman, and here is X with the posturing like he's Super Crip. I have a brother from the 9 and one from the 4 so I have some insight into how these nikkas are...

He's already considered a legend in his section for coming home in one piece, and being the first big name rapper from the city. He lacks humility though and his old interviews come off as insincere, because he definitely out here on positive time but the messaging, his words, verbally he's banging when he denounced that shyt inside. Which leads to asking why was he denouncing it from a Level 4 yard, and SNY...

I'm just not fukking with the change in energy and messaging...

@Sweet Pea

My mom and uncle are from OPGB (my bio dad really is too), I don't know how to upload photos but my uncle was just kicking it with Mozzy and his crew in June. My uncle considered a legend and a OG in they hood...

Significance of my uncle, and how it relates to X saying "ask nikkas what tge charge was and what yard they were on", my uncle two years older than X, went down in '91 and came home in '21, knows X, etc:

Unc was on these yards, didn't have "the body". Did 30 flat, I was 2 when he went away and literally just met him. And he's come home, also on positive time, also respected in his side, but he's not doing this extra banging and shyt, was just with him a few months ago...

I just can't fukk with coming off how X is doing...

@murksiderock yeah he’s tryna have it both ways. He’s listing his resume lightweight pressing a line. But just a few years ago he denounced banging. If it’s a “parasitic organism” like he said why are you trying so hard to prove yourself? Especially at 50.

It’s like old heads who talk about helping out their community and unity. But then at the same time lament about how banging ain’t what it used to be and their young homies aren’t active enough. You can’t have it both ways
