X-Men Apocalypse: (Official Movie Discussion Thread) *Spoilers*

Just came from seeing the movie last night and to all the clowns who tried to convince me it was wack..

It seems movies not being made by the mouse automatically gets reviewed more harshly smh...

Movie wasn't THAT great but it was not as bad as you nut huggers make it seem.. anyways i was entertained and we can discuss what we loved and hated about the movie..

Cons:

*My main disdain with the movie was Mystique running the show (yes we saw it in the trailers but seeing it all through the movie pissed me off, she aint no damn leader of the xmen smhhhh)

*Magneto a family man now working in a steel plant, nikka please.

*Apocalypse design was horrendous, jesus, i was annoyed, that weird witch thing he did with his eyes when his powers activated was pure

*This nikka Apoc's body manipulation power was ONLY used in the damn psychic fight and not for real, wtfffffffffffffffffffffff nikka aint show no other powers than teleport and vaporise, NIGGGGA.. nikkaAAAA

*Storms accent
*Storm caping for mystique
*Storm born in egypt

PROS:

*THE GAAAAHDAMN QUICKSILVER, every damn scene he was in was a show stealer, lil brehh brehh brought the emotion to the movie (didnt wanna tell Mags that he's his son )

*Angel was actually dope, loved his ruthlessness, didnt like his new hairstyle but it didnt take anything away from him

*Nightcrawler was funny

*The story allowed you to feel the pain of the mutants, everything they do is never right, lil nikkas living in fear all the time

*CYKE'S COSTUME AT THE END I NUTTED ON MY SELF

overall the movie got me, left satisfied, wasn't disappointed at all.. I enjoyed it.. could have been better, cause lil nikkas defeating Apoc was kinda meeeeeeeeeeeeehhhhhhhhhhhhh, but they had Mags and Dark PhePhe helping out so

Im hoping the next movie lets Young Cykes finally take over and be the leader we all deserve

I thoroughly enjoyed this movie can't even lie. Quicksilver scenes were so piff especially when he started fukking up Apoc at the end. That shyt did not end well for him tho lol. I love how involved they had Cyke and Jean. Her going Pheonix at the end had me tingly

Steel plant? No. But the entire scene is a str8 copy from Claremont's A Fire In the Night about how Magneto lost his first daughter with the changes being she died in the fire after the town people held down Magneto and beat him down. He had just discovered his powers so he didn't kill them with ease as he would have in any other situation. She died. He lashed out and killed the entire mob. His wife called him a monster and ran from him in fear. He never saw her again. That was before he became Magneto in the comics but the movie has it AFTER he made a bid for world power.
