So we all know Brock won the Universal Championsip for 2 reasons

1. So that he can later be fed to Roman so he can then become Universal Champion

2. To bring legitimacy to the Universal Championship


But I ask, how legitimate can the title be if the champion is never around?


Isn't part of a title being legitimate means that it is in contention and always being defended?

The IC title is naturally going to be elevated due to Brocks constant absence.

How does that help to make the Universal Championship seem important if you never even see it?

Pretty soon people will stop caring about the title even if someone like Brock is holding it

Everyone and their mother knows Brock is holding it strictly so Roman can beat him for it at wrestlemania next year because Roman is one of the only two wrestlers they care about and put any effort into protecting and wrestlemania is the only event they care about and even pretend to care about booking a good card for. This ultimately makes the title as worthless as its atrocious name and uninspired design. The fact that the champion won't even be around most of the time only compounds the problem.

Not really since Brock was solidified after his hell in a cell match in 2002 and UFC career. The problem is that it's gonna be damn near impossible to make the crowd care about the story they're about to tell us regardless of if Brock is in it.

I'm very interested in seeing what direction Brock goes after he loses to Roman at WM 34

So this is it.the last year of Lesnar in the WWE before he disappears back to Canada with that old woman he calls a wife. And it's sad that his best matches were definitely before this run. His match with Eddie was his greatest but his matches with Rock and Undertaker HIAC is what made him the name he is today. That's how he got easy entry into NFL camps and UFC. A shame he's this lazy and not even 40.

He had some good matches this run. But once Suplex City started it went downhill.

That might be it for him. He signed a two year deal before wrestlemania 31 and it should conclude after 33.

Belt is trash regardless. Has been trash as soon as they introduced it. A legit title should not look like blood splatter at a crime scene nor have a stupid name as the Universal Championship. May as well call it the Galaxy or Planetarium Title.

Cena vs Roman might get a new age equivalent of the reaction Batista vs big show at the Hammerstein ballroom got of it headlines wrestlemania. We don't need Roman for the 4th year straight and cena for the tenth time overall with each time as a face. Roman vs face cena in 2018? That's a disaster waiting to happen
