I get WWE wanting a certain percentage if your 3rd party stuff includes any WWE related properties, but to completely take it away was always fukking stupid.
Never made sense to begin with. The moment WWE delved into the NIL deals they were going to have no other choice but to rescind the 3rd party ban.
More than anything I think this is the main reason why WWE lost Gargano and Cole, they were not willing to give up their side hustles with twitch. Also others left and opened up their twitches and OF's cameos etc.
Either way it's good that they relaxed on that ridiculous dictator rule.Very good call, but not sure if they rescinded it as much as are doing profit sharing from them running it
Here's the full story from Fightful FYI
Triple H at WWE talent meeting, major notes
Fightful Select has learned about a big WWE talent meeting Friday.
We're told that John Laurinaitis kicked off the meeting by saying he had a guest for the talent in attendance. It was Triple H, who hasn't been seen by most talent since August. We're told it was an emotional scene with many elated that he was there. He discussed his health challenges and introduced WWE President Nick Khan, who he called a friend of over ten years.
Nick Khan provided key business updates, including the news that talent will now make additional money/profit participation on top of their Superstar contracts for revenue generated from third-party platforms. We're told this includes Cameo, autograph signings, scripted and unscripted programming.
Fightful heard back from a half dozen talent who said it was a great, unanimously positive meeting. One noted it was a great way to start a big weekend

If I'm trying to run a product that appeals to families, you would not be allowed to do an Only Fans either even if it's IG content behind a pay wall. They've moved away from explicitly selling sex whether it be Playboy or selling posters on their website.

Yeah, but unless you're Kaite Forbes or Harrington (who is doing OF content with real life girlfriend pornstar Candice Dare) and PVZ no other wrestler is showing any adult content like that.
I honestly get the OF ban with WWE being kinda PG even if the current women would probably make more than their current salary off of it.
Banning Twitch and Cameo was a dumb ass decision though but that’s good that they lifted it so folks like Dakota Kai can keep hers when she heads to the main roster.
