Yeah, it's legitimately one of my favorite matches of all time, like top 3, but it was definitely a wwe main event BOLA match. But way bigger and better. The combo of that type of kickout fest, the WWE spectacle and entrances and the size of the stage is basically what we're at now.Figure this match will be 1, and the crazy irony that this was like a mainstream match of what was popping off in the indies. While the match was GOATed, it was a monkey paw that created a mess of false finish overdrawn long ass matches
This, Bret Austin, Brock/angle, and the ec/Dudley/hardy March are the 4 of the most influential mania matches ever (edit: on this era)

watching HBK/flair again right now....i've always thought this was underrated. It is a GOAT storytelling match...and is both a 'flair' and 'hbk' match at once...the crowd is super into it and the ending legit still gets me.
this is a 5 star for sure...truly a GOAT. I love this match and mania 24. HBK sacrificed so much for this match. There are NOT 20 matches better than this in mania history let alone 33.
EDIT: the end and post match is so fukkin sad man. This WAS the end of nature boy. the rest is some post credits shyt....this is always tough to watch...as well as the crowd ovation. This was the fukkin nature boy RIC FLAIR man. Seeing his family crying and shyt...seing REID crying...this is goat wrestling shyt man.

Its a solid WM, I think the Belfast Brawl, MITB, HBK vs Flair, Floyd vs Big Show and Takkker vs Edge does more than enough to outshine the mediocrity of the Triple K/Orton/Cena Triple Threat and the rest of the filler on the card
Only for Flair to ruin the moment so he
could wrestle on Hulkkk's
Australian Tour a year later and eventually embarass/nearly kill himself in that tag match a few years ago

All his undertaker matches are mid. His WrestleMania entrances are more memorable than any of his matches.
