That's because people have been conditioned into thinking that way in the social media era. Everything Top 10's GOAT'S Rushmores etc. What happened to good old plain favourites?

Yep. The Ironmatch at Mania 12 use to be talked about in that same breath as well. I remember they did a top WrestleMania matches countdown before Mania X-8 that was hosted by Flair, and the Michaels/Bret Ironman got no.1.

They kept hanging on with that narrative that Michaels matches were the standard...odd. Such a money killing performer and they act like those matches were great...the Taker match? Taker almost got killed. And the Iron Man match is one of most boring...definitely. 20 mins of nonsense to kick the match off? Crazy.
