NXT Takeover Brooklyn 2015. Sasha Banks vs Bayley, seemingly regarded as new peak for Women's Wrestling in WWE, these two put on a classic and finally had people respecting Women's Wrestling. These two surely seemed to be the future of the business.

Fast Forward to 2017 and Ric Flair's daughter and a blonde bombshell from Ohio are the face of their respective divisions, yes Naomi is still the champion and an absolutely deserving one but we all now the end game here, to make Charlotte the face of the SmackDown Women's Division.

Bayley debuted at Battleground 2016 and received a huge pop, fans had been begging WWE to debut and they got their wish, fans saw her as a potential female John Cena when it comes to the Children.

Boy did that turn out to be inaccurate as abysmal mic skills and inconsistent booking would eventually make some fans turn on Bayley. She went from being the Woman that ended Charlotte Flair's PPV streak and winning at WrestleMania to losing a completely one sided feud to Alexa Bliss. Two feuds that were both the same, making fun of Bayley for being a fan. Bayley said last night in a backstage segment that she watched clips of Sandman, Tommy Dreamer, and Steve Blackman, yet when she gets the kendo stick, she freezes up, and the Woman that beat the over pushed Charlotte twice, just froze up in a match against the 5' Alexa Bliss, is it Keep Ya Head Up or Hit Em Up WWE creative?

Obviously she's was watching them on some grainy VHS footage and only had the audio working properly.

Babyfaces in wwe only keep belts for short periods of time now. Wwe is officially a heel territory. Who has had decently long title reigns in the past three years

Only new day were babyface champs and they were heels for the beginning of their run, and ambrose. Everyone else has been transitional. The babyfaces are just there to push heels now...which is why most lose in their hometowns...

Bayley can't talk and her gimmick sucks. I thought it was dumb in NXT and thought it would be difficult to translate to the main roster.

Alexa isn't the greatest wrestler, but she elicits a reaction from the crowd and her mic skills in combination with how she carries herself as a heel will be why she's in the spotlight. They could have done this for Sasha Banks, but hey I'm not in creative.

Yeah, they buried her, but her character is an underdog. She doesn't need the title. They can easily build her back up at any given moment too because of the underdog character. It is what it is.

What bothers me is how overrated Bayley is. She's not nearly as good as the 'beards make her out to be :ld:
