Was it because of most of it being good that 3 hour Nitro was not THAT bad for most of the run, but 3 hour Raw is like getting a colonoscopy without the drugs.

Very good point. Raw is about 100 minutes with 90 minutes of replays/plugs while 3 hour nitro was 30 minutes of recap through the episode and 155-160 minutes of somewhat relevant stuff(before Russo).
