Make a shyttier game even shyttier the next year and expect different results, brehs 
They should just cancel 2k21 and take their time with the next game. Make something worth buying and try to earn back some goodwill.
Honestly they are better off not releasing a game next year if that’s the case.
Releasing a shytty game next year would essentially be a final nail in the coffin for a WWE related video game as long as 2K has the license. I’d go as far as saying a WWE game in general.
Hell even EA still hasn’t recovered the NBA Live franchise after what happened years ago.

These idiots just don't get it, stop making games every year it's ridiculous. Now they're going to slash the budget for the follow up to a broken game making it look and perform shyttier than the last and what are they gonna do when it underperforms again? Slash the budget?

If they can’t cancel the game, at least make it a cheap mobile exclusive, don’t release the shyt on consoles, if the sales are low with 2K20, imagine how low it will be with 2K21, they really should start working on 2K22 for the next gen which will probably be a stripped down piece of shyt anyway.
Not even gonna put this on 2K, this is on WWE who wont let them skip a year.

Only way to save face is to pull a No Mans Sky and update this game until it’s right. 2k21 should basically just be a free update to this version

they’d be better off milking DLC and go every other year at this point. Not enough changes in the company to justify annual releases anymore
I don’t know if 2K would be willing to put in the time and resources to update the game as it seems like they are already chalking up this release as a lost cause.

Their only saving grace is being the only mainstream game in town. Look at what happened with Live, they actually put out a great basketball game last outing but people remembered the previous outings and stayed far away
