They see me trolling, they hating.....
Probably more than that by now, but last time I checked it was 7 million.

How much did each member actually pocket after the label, marketing, distributors etc all got their cut?

7 mill records sold is alot but when u gotta split the profits with 9 nikkas :to:

That's probably when they realized that having such a big group isn't such a good idea :ld:

It sold 2 million nationally, at most 3 million internationally.
4x plat in america, prob more by now that was years ago. but i don't know why you would want to know how much each member made & all that, no one on here would know that because no one has seen their contracts

the "counting it twice" thing only counts if it's over a certain amount of time, off top i think it's 100 mins. i would assume that Forever passes that but the last time it was certified could have been 10 years ago who knows :manny: even then 2 million copies for a double album where the only single was a 6 minute song with 9 MC's & no hook is fukkin amazing IMO

i think they're both worth getting. the first one he talks more like a history of Wu Tang, how they formed, info about songs & when & where they were recorded, types of equipment he used. the second one is more about himself, a lot more insight into his mind & what he thinks about life & certain things, but still stories about Wu as well.

get the first one and if you dig that you will end up getting the second anyway.

Multi-disc

Multi-disc albums are counted once for each disc within the album if it is over 100 minutes in length or is from the vinyl era. For example, each copy of OutKast's Speakerboxxx/The Love Below (running time of 134:56), and Shania Twain's Up! (145:44), both double albums, were counted twice, meaning each album was certified diamond after 5 million copies were shipped. Pink Floyd's The Wall and The Beatles' White Album, both vinyl-era, are counted double even though their running times are under the minimum requirement.

there's probably a more reliable source like the actual RIAA site but i'm not gonna bother
