  • As a lot of you know your boy got in the ring and trained for his dreams.
  • Wrestling industry is very cool, I believe this is the best time to be in in it.
  • Admittedly, at one point I loss motivation due to funds but a lot of wrestlers and artists are broke at that level so there is no pity :yeshrug:
  • I stopped training for a while and took some College courses since I could go for the low.
  • College is ight but I'd rather wrestle.
  • I went deaf in my right ear recently making it hard to hear of course, was also making me really dizzy but my balance is straight now. It scared me thinking I prob couldn't wrestle if it persisted but people like Kurt Angle, Corino, Blue Pants, etc are all deaf in one ear so it shouldn't be a prob. Wasn't wrestling related, just don't use q-tips brehs
  • Plan on going back around Mania so I can get some money stacked up.
Y'all can ask me anything you want. I used to give updates but this is why I've been silent about it.

How hard was it taking bumps initially?

How good of a shape would you say you were in? Did you gas easily?

How much pain/soreness after a match?

How hard is it to plan out or remember the layout of a match? Always thought this was difficult.

Also I have an obessesion with qtips :wow:

Are you permanently deaf in your ear? Jesus Christ :picard:

If you're feeling light headed, even without wrestling, it may not be a good idea to pursue it. Look at the state all of those dudes you listed that are deaf in one ear are in. I'm not trying to dissuade you from pursuing your dreams, but don't be shortsighted about your health.

You probably ruptured your eardrum, same thing happened to me. Doctor told it takes 3-4 months to heal properly. You gotta put Vaseline all over a cotton ball and stuff in your ear when taking a shower to avoid further damage to the eardrum. It’s tough not to dig in your ear for wax but hey :manny:

Nah, bumping came pretty easily. Though, my first bump it felt like I ripped my a$$hole :dame:
I don't know what other way to describe it breh :dame:
Other than that, I had to slow down because I felt like I was a natural at it and was attacking the mat but I shoulda just stayed in my lane. Bumping became 2nd nature quickly though, my only criticism in the start that I was taking "Cena Bumps". Too much elbow.

How many places have you been able to work breh? Any veteran given you good advice?

:dead:
I didn't work anywhere, only matches I had were in training. The point of training I got up to other than learning to work was just setting up shows, reffing sometimes, getting to interact with other wrestlers. Highspots is a pretty connected place so I got to see some of the bigger stars of the indys and vets.
What's your finish?

*very very soft handshake*
Finish I was focused on was a move I saw Yoshytatsu do in a random AAA match. Asuka now does the move but I'll prob regulate it to a signature

WHat territories do you work?
I'm in Charlotte so naturally we work around the South East.

props on going for your dreams :obama:

Been using q-tips all my life, shyt just did me in that last time :damn:
Most surprising part? How short some wrestlers are compared to their built heights. I was at Highspots who trained Cedric Alexander, Tessa Blanchard, Caleb Konley from TNA, etc.

Wasn't that hard. Just had to slow down initially. I felt it when I was going to sleep later that night. You get use to it really quickly.

I'm pretty athletic for a dude who never played sports. I didn't gas until 3 months in doing some rope running drills with Caprice Coleman. That's prob the worst I had it. I was dead :wow:

The layout of matches can kinda vary. Initially, just the trainer calling out "tackle, drop down, reverse hip toss, drop kick, get it again" threw me off but you'll get the hang of it.
U went deaf using a q tip
:dwillhuh:

How hard were u cleaning your ears
I like to get deep in there :ahh: but I think it was what I did after that fukked me up. That's a whole diff story. I got another doctors appointment on the 7th so we'll see if some developments are made.

I use qtips all the time because im ADD about having earwax and my left ear went deaf last summer

I thought I was from my years of past opiate abuse catching up to me but I'm good now

Also Steve Austin said he would travel town to town getting paid $5 and living off raw potatoes to pay his dues.

The lightheartedness came from swimmers ear initially. All the water drained from my ear so I'm back to normal. Just can't hear that well on the right side.
