from wwf warzone to no mercy i conquered all same with the gamecube wrestling games No Way Out series the computer was never really a challenge but the fun i got out of that was taking on friends and creating characters
the smackdown engine series i wasn't crazy over that probably had a more difficult computer I would imagine
but the hardest wrestling game to me was the wrestlefest arcade game as a kid...never beat it ever i'm sure I can now but as a kid never could

HHH must've had a hand in the production of the early Smackdown PS1 games cause it took an act of god to beat him with a midcarder
used to use Jeff Hardy and beating him in any kind of match was nigh impossible, swanton finisher had the same effect as a leg drop and he would just counter everything before hitting you with that one hitter quitter pedigree

I never had a hard time with any wrestler in a game 
Only challenge was wresting as Ray Mysterio as he can't lift up most guys on the roster.
Of course I lost playing against people in real life but I can't recall losing to the computer in a regular match, I might have lost to the AI in a cage match though.
When's the last time Taker lost cleanly?
Dude only lost cleanly like 10 times in his entire career so that's probably why his rating is so high

Don't know if this counts but on No Mercy in the story mode they put you in a handicap match with the APA
