There's quite a few instances but one i remember very well.. RVD beat John Cena for the WWE Championship at ECW One Night Stand 2 and it coincided w/ the launch of the new ECW brand where RVD was also awarded that belt... Then he gets pulled over with Sabu with drugs in the car and that ended his chapter :wow:

Dude had a mega push coming with a Mania match with Cena (allegedly) was beating down legends left and right and looked primed for big things only to have his shytty history leaked just to still be alright. Being some weirdo head case did his whole career in before it even popped off. Good riddance though :piss::rip:

Enzo Amore: Man had the cruiserweights main eventing Raw, got caught up in some shyt that he didn’t do but then tried to sneak into a PPV and ended up getting banned from WWE.

Tessa Blanchard: Probably would be getting the Charlotte Flair push right now on WWE or AEW but couldn’t help but be a racist piece of shyt and now has go away heat with nearly every wrestling company and fan.

Austin Aries: He was always booked well wherever he went, had a great run in TNA, decent run in WWE, and had a belt collector gimmick going for a while, but his attitude was just too much to overcome and even no sold the end of a world title match in Impact. Now he’s doing nothing but spreading anti-vax/anti-mask theories on Twitter.

Abyss turned down a job with WWE and potential mania match with Undertaker to stay loyal to TNA/Impact.

Truth be told I don't think that match or feud with Taker would've materialized. I think it was just a sales pitch so they could hurt TNA. Still though, money was left on the table.
