With WrestleMania just a mere few days away, you may be wondering how long the WWE has allotted for your favorite match.
According to F4WOnline (via WrestlingInc.com), a script has been released that reveals exactly how much time has been laid out for each match.
So, without further ado, here is the list of matches and the times allotted:
The Rock vs. John Cena has been given 25 to 30 minutes.
CM Punk vs. The Undertaker has been given 20 minutes.
Triple H vs. Brock Lesnar has been given 20 to 30 minutes.
Jack Swagger vs. Alberto Del Rio has been given 15 minutes.
The Shield vs. Randy Orton, Big Show and Sheamus has been given 15 minutes.
Ryback vs. Mark Henry has been given 12 minutes.
Chris Jericho vs. Fandango has been given 10 minutes.
Kane and Daniel Bryan vs. Dolph Ziggler and Big E Langston has been given 12 to 15 minutes.
The Diddy musical performance has been given eight minutes.
The WWE Hall of Famers coming out to wave to fans has been given seven minutes.
The show opener and National Anthem has been given seven minutes.
Other assorted segments throughout the show have been given 10 minutes.
Ultimately, I am a bit surprised about the length of some of these bouts. For instance, I was hoping to see Jericho and Fandango get more time than the Ryback-Mark Henry match.
It was also intriguing to find out that the WWE allowed 10 minutes for other segments during the show. To me, that time could be better spent on some more in-ring action.
Another thing to consider is that this list does not include times for ring entrances. So lets hope that the company still provides us with some solid, over-the-top arrivals.
That being said, the WWE has historically given fans some memorable ring entrances. So I am certain that it has figured out how much time will be needed for each participant.
Keep in mind that the WWE has been doing this for close to 30 years, and I think its safe to say the company knows what its doing. The fact is, it has created a formula for this particular show and manages to let each match have its own special moment.
In the end, I am positive that we will not be let down. The fact is, we should probably focus less on how much time a match has and instead concentrate on the effort put into each bout.
