nah for real though look at how cool it is for movies though. that dude in the video is literally AT a fukkin movie theater. yea it doesn't fully replicate the physical feeling of being at a theater with real people (or leaving your house and having an actual night out).... but shyt i can't lie it's still cool as fukk and amazing to see. at the very least i don't think anyone is ever gonna watch a movie on a regular television ever again once that shyt hits the mainstream.

i'm not sure that films are meant to be as much of an interactive experience. i wanna watch a movie, not be IN the movie. but the possibilities for video games and shyt is endless.

well the idea of virtual reality is you're supposed to FEEL like your apart of the experience, i don't feel i'll need that for movies. But i will say watching something in 3D would in interesting with the oculus.

wow that all sounds amazing. definitely gonna take shyt to the next level. might even do to movies what movies did to books. just a more immersive experience.

but it's also a very weird way to "experience" a movie though isn't it? our relationship to a movie has always been one of a spectator. to think we could be IN the movie changes up the dynamic a bit. but if i'm gonna be in the shyt i'd rather it be a fully interactive experience, like a game. otherwise i'm just like a ghost watching other people interact in their own story.

but the fact that were even having this discussion is crazy. i'm hopin this shyt becomes mainstream while i'm still alive to enjoy it.
