I was born in 90

For some reason whenever I watch the films from the mid 80s-mid 90s, I always get that feeling that life was easier, more fun, less judgmental back then.

I don't know why people always say stuff like this. There were never any good old days, unless you're a white man. Because if you're any other race, especially black, or a woman, shyt was way worse. Segregation, treated like a 3rd class citizen, world wars etc. And people have always been the same.

new york in the 70s/80s seemed very diverse. i can see why the golden age of hip hop was from the children of that era in new york. they were raised in a time when ny was a major cultural hub.

now its just hipsters pretending they're living that life when in reality they're just tatted fakkits.

I see these fakkits everyday roaming the streets in Brooklyn.

It's amazing how cacs can drain a culture out of it's flavor.

Even growing up in the suburbs, I can remember finding little tubes with colored caps...flicking them around on the street when I was a kid.

My mom used to scream at me to stop doing that shyt.
I didn't realize until years later that I was flicking empty crack vials.

Drugs were a serious problem in NY back then.
