This man survived a shotgun blast to the face and has a GREAT attitude about it. But. I think I would rather just check out

What quality of life could he possibly have? He seems to be homeless. I’d imagine he has constant headaches and PTSD from the incident. A woman never being attracted to me again. Children everywhere terrified. Can’t go anywhere without being constantly gawked at.People making fun of me and recoiling in fear and/or disgust. Not a life for me. I think I’d want the good Lord to just bring me on home

What say you all? Would you wanna live like this or be amongst the dearly departed?

Quality of life is important. But that is defined by your character also. Also, lots of beautiful and healthy people that suffer from internal demons and mental health. I’m sure no one would choose to suffer if given the choice but if you can find purpose and will to live I think that’s so powerful.

I agree. Life is hard enough just being Black. Don’t think I’d wanna add being crippled or disfigured on top of that. Quality of life is a big factor for me. There’s living and then there’s just existing. And this ain’t living, IMO.
