Would you go to an ex's mother's funeral?

Say your ex's mother died. The mother was a good woman, treated you good and with respect etc when you was with their daughter/son but their spawn was a complete bytch/a$$hole/scrub or whatever. Is it a good idea or should you show up at the funeral to show respect etc?

I might, depending how long I was with the ex, and how we broke up.
But I think if you're unsure, it's best to stay away and maybe send flowers/a card/or make a phone call to your ex to express condolences.
I'd hate to show up and cause a scene because I was unwanted there.
