PETA thinks its immoral to own animals like property.

To them this would be like debating whether or not you would free your slaves for your partner.

Me on the other hand see animals as lower lifeforms, so to me its like debating whether or not you would flush goldfish to save a marriage.

Regardless of which end of the spectrum you lean towards, (caring about animals too much, or not caring about them at all) its seems like people need to re-evaluate what's truly important to them in life if this is even up for debate. The answer should obviously be yes.

No not for a potential partner certainly not

This woman just started seeing him it’s not like they were in a long term relationship decided to get a cat and the cat decides to attack dude whenever it sees them. Or that they cannot afford vet bills without going into debt.

It depends on the woman, if it someone you genuinely want to settle with and choose as wife then yes i can see that being a tough and fair compromise, if its just a regular girlfriend or fling then no i do not support that

If I was a pet owner and my partner was allergic to the pet, then I would get rid of the pet. Other than that, my partner will have to decide to deal with me with the pet or move on..
