Not a bad way to live through your twenties. A guy I went to high school with played 8 years in the minors as a pitcher. Had a decent career despite never getting called up and losing his girl to another ball player .

8 years in the minors? He must suck....your not suppose to play more then 3 maybe 4 years the most in the minors.

Yeah, id play baseball in the minors for a few just to do it. Got the rest of my life to get a real job and it may be fun even if im just getting drunk and knocking back C-Grade groupies.

some teams provide housing or pay for food etc
