Would Meek Mill be this hot if he stayed with T.I.?

I watched Meek Mill's all access where he brings T.I. out during his Atlanta performance and I was thinking...damn. I really remember when they made the announcement that Meek was with Grand Hustle.

Fast forward. TI goes to jail and Meek had to make other moves. It really makes you wonder. NO ARTIST has been successfully under TI other than B.O.B. and I'm not sure how much of that was because of TI or the label.

I wonder how many other Artist had potential to be big but they signed with the wrong Artist/Label and never made it?

Nope. I just dont think TI's really good at this whole executive thing. Hell I dont really attribute B.O.B's success to TI, I feel the good folks over there at atlantic just hooked him up with the right features and songs.

yeah, cause he created a buzz in the street and set his self apart with consistency and work ethic. SO he was guaranteed to make money off of rap. Whether he would be one of the hottest new artists in the game (on his own), who knows?

I look at young Chris and wonder what woulda happened if he signed with another label and not with Jay-Z. Hov pretty much did a Soulja Boy on Chris then he dropped them from the label.

cliff wouldnt have pushed meek as hard as ross would have, then u have to take into consideration when meek was just starting to buzz cliff was still locked up.


he was more worried about his tv show with his wife more than anything, and we all see the potential in dro and how that turned out.

Basing it on Dro and Yung La i would say the answer is no. Just uz u r a great rapper don't mean u have the chops to be an executive. Ala Jay-Z and T.I. One thing about MMG is they seem like a close knit group and not just a bunch of nikkas signed to the label. Ross had a vision and it worked. He got the hardcore MC with Meek, the playboy MC with Wale, and if he signed Nipsey Hussle he would have that West coast mc to balance things out. And all of them are pretty much gonna sell Gold and he can just rotate them and drop an album or two every year. But i always ask myself how big Young Chris could have been if pushed properly. That boy a monster and it's a shame that Jay stole his flow and his whisper shyt and ran with it.
