Would it be weird to you if there was a site for people who hate the Irish to congregate

I googled something and ran into one of those sites but about black people (google linked my topic into their reddit rss feed)

and every other subforum there was "******" this or "******" that
the whole thing was surreal and creepy as fukk
like who can hate anyone that much?
who the hell can walk around with that much venom like its soooo fukking normal that they need to have water cooler talk about it?

I have known about these sites, so I am not naive, but looking at it I was still scratching my head asking myself...dude...why? what does this even accomplish?

but more to the point I just wonder how much would we, as a society, tolerate an entire social website dedicated strictly to peddling the most denigrating defamations and stereotypes conceivable about the Irish or Eastern Europeans? would we find it weird or would we just get used to it over time and tolerate it?

It would be weird because that time in history is over. The irish were hated when they first landed on the shores of America and newspapers often highlighted Irish crime but by working for the estalishment and establishing a criminal underworld they were able to gain some respect and blend in.
