Not quite life changing but definitely makes things little easier I guess. "Life changing" to me is when you have enough money that you can live comfortably, buy a nice house in cash without even flinching and never have to work again.

It all depends on what your budget is. If you usually spend 2k per month then doubling your budget can free you up to do a lot of things like tackle debt, invest, save up for a house, wedding etc.

As for me, that’s not even a 20% raise, so no it wouldn’t be life changing but if I walked in tomorrow and got a 30k raise I’d be happy too. OP is a judgmental fakkit who probably was waiting on his stimulus check like most other Americans
