Worst Non-DQ

I was pretty astounded by the incompetence of the referee in Derrick Gainer-Freddie Norwood. It was justice that Gainer ended up winning, but the way he won was laughable. He should have won by DQ, not because the ref didn’t know the difference between a 20 count (which Norwood beat) for guys who get knocked out of the ring and the 5 minute rest for low blows. Since the ref didn’t even rule them low blows, he’s supposed to give a regular 10 count.

The ref ended up saying those final shots were “CLOSE to being low”




But this fight between Luis Lazarte and Ulises Solis. WTF?



Years later, the IBF banned Lazarte for helping incite a ring riot, and threatening the referee’s life.

I'm more appalled by Mares vs Agbeko 1. Mora should have never worked another fight after that. Mares should have lost by DQ.

hopkins vs. echols 2, both fighters could have been dq'd at several points. echols dislocated hopkins's shoulder with a slam and his trainer told him the gameplan was to hurt him with more fouls and low blows, hopkins fought for several rounds one-handed, hopkins constantly hit on the break/held and hit/rabbit punched, he even knocked out echols with a rabbit punch at one point who didn't even get 5 minutes to recover lol

disgusting!!
Hopkins was one of the most dirtiest fighter to lace em up..lol
this was his match made in heaven.
And i remember this clearly.

Mike vs Francois.

Mike was dirty as hell in this match, constant arm holding, nearly breaking that Saffa's arm off at one stage..
Mike was super lucky he didn't get a DQ from his frustration and then found that Knock out punch..
