I know of isometric, plyometric, and even isotonic exercises. However, I don't know the term/category for the following type of exercise. For example, if you tense your arm, then do a slow punch while keeping it tense, what is the term/category of exercise is that?

Time under tension I believe

Nah. :whoa:

Cause your muscle are still under tension during all three types. You can do TUT with weights or without.

@Secure Da Bag it still sounds like isotonic exercise to me, albeit a very useless form.

It doesn't sound like isokinetic exercise and you indicated the there was movement going on so it's not isometric, so that leaves isotonic. :manny:
